Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden significant achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
